The core of the work offered in this Private Practice is CBT.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Is based on the principles of collaboration, working together.
  • Clear goals will be developed which are tracked to review progress. We call these Goals Based Outcomes.
  • We map out how the difficulties developed, looking at Negative Thoughts and Behaviours.
  • We look at the negative thoughts, how this impact of this on your life and have a think about how we can help you change and challenge these thoughts.
  • At the end of therapy, we develop a Relapse Prevention Plan to help you manage challenges in the future so that are aware of the triggers and alternate ways to handle these difficulties.
